pg. 150 Thomas Hardythis is at the end of the book when montag just found granger and now he is introducing montag to all the guys. one of them, Fred, is a former occupant of the THomas Hardy chair. they put his name in the book because he was another famous wrighter. he wrote many poems. he wrote great pieces and obiously his poems were were extraordenary or else Fred wouldn't have memorized it.
