An author has written a series of books, the main character is called Misery. He is hurt in a car accident after skidding in the snow and is rescued by a local woman. She takes him back to her house and he soon realises that she reads Misery books. He had just finished the last Misery book and was off to publish it, and then he had the car accident so he couldn't. In the last book Misery dies. The local woman asked if she could read it and is very angry when she finds out Misery dies. So she keeps him in her house by breaking both his ankles and doing some other gory stuff. Very eerie and tensional film. PS. this was written by a 13 year old girl who loves anything about vampires or scary films, and i have to say that this is an excellent film.
"The Looking Glass" is a short story written by Russian author Anton Chekhov. To briefly summarize the plot, the story is about a girl named Nellie who dreams of having the perfect husband, and after she finds him, she dreams mainly of his death.
In "The Proposal" by Anton Chekhov, the dramatic element that drives the plot forward is the conflict that arises between the characters as they argue over trivial matters. This conflict creates tension and propels the characters to make decisions that ultimately lead to the resolution of the play.
Indirect Action is a technique Anton Chekhov was most famous for. It involves action important to the play's plot occurring off-stage, not on. Instead of seeing such action happen, the audience learns about it by watching characters react to it onstage.
A story's "plot summary" could also be called an "abstract."
the plot of the summary is to explain the whole plot of the book because all the summary is is a recap of the main story's plot so you basically just restate the plot of the story in you summary paragraph

A logline is a one-sentence summary that encapsulates the central conflict or concept of a story. It aims to grab attention and provide a quick overview of the narrative in a compelling way. While it touches on the plot, it does not detail the entire plot like a plot summary would.
sometimes yes sometimes no if the story is short it could be but most of the time a plot is a part of a summary

Basically, it's just the summary of the main idea. If you've ever shopped for a book and saw the summary of the book, that's the plot summary; it just took everything important, all the main ideas, from the book and simplified it into a paragragh or two that told you all about the book in short. A plot summary is just that; a summary of the plot.
Anything can be an example! Go read a book or watch a movie -- then tell a friend what happened. That is a plot summary.
