that is when you are foreshadowing what will happen later in the story wit the clues the writer gives you. or you can infer which literally means guess.
The plot is what happens, so of course it can help determine what happens to a character. If you mean can it help a reader to guess what might happen, then that, too, is true. If you know what's been going on from reading the story, then you can guess what might happen in the future.
The bible doesnt say when it will happen so know one knows . But we do know it will happen

This is called Suspense, for the reader has an excited anticipation to know what will happen.
With too many pronouns, the reader won't know your subject(s). The reader will be frustrated, trying to guess what you mean.

A prediction is an educated guess. When you predict, you use the information you know to guess what will happen next. A guess means to "suppose (something) without sufficient information."
