There are some nice short monologues in the French book 'Le Petite Prince'. English editions are in Libraries and most likely web pages of the text in french. Look to the writings of the impressionists in Paris, late 1890's for other good material.
I would try Youtube. Usually prestigious art academies have some on their websites.
You get monologues from plays, for the most part. Find a play you would like to be in, pick the character you like, and find a bit where the character is talking for a minute or two at a time. (or however long you need your monologue) You can simply find plays in a library or bookstore.
I would say the best synonym is a long, uninterrupted speech made by one person.
If you mean the abbreviation for Mademoiselle when you are addressing a letter it would be: Mlle.
To say "your mother is short" in French, you would say "ta mère est petite."
If you translate it literally, you would get "Je te marierais dans une minute" which is more like "I would marry you in one minute (if the priest would show up)". It's not terribly romantic. It would be better if you said, "Je te marierais sans penser" which means "I would marry you without thinking."
the long hand is the minute hand the short hand is the hour hand the short hand show the hours the minute hand show minutes the long goes by 5's so if it was on the 4 i would be 20 mins
The short hand is the hour hand. The longer hand is the minute hand. If there is a third hand, it is very thin and very fast. That would be the second hand.
It has to do with the French language. It also has to do with long and short vowels. The suffix et is French and ballet is a french sport. Also if you put an a at the end it would make a short a, as in apple. so it would not be the same. You can look up the suffix et at wikipedia.
It is different everywhere but I would estimate about a 1 minute.
You're beautiful
People have different opinions. However I think most would agree that Henry V monologue prior to Agincout is dramatic.
