Which are better happy endings or sad endings?

Happy endings are good because they make you feel warm and fuzzy.

But sad endings are good because if you cry for the character it means that the author is really good.

It's mainly a matter of preference. ---- Middle. Somewhat sad, but has a happy tingle to it. Like Titanic. Except Titanic has romance in it. That's all that makes it suck.
