who are you talking about?
The audience may feel a sense of dramatic irony as they watch Duncan enter the castle, knowing that he is walking into a trap set by Macbeth. This creates tension and suspense as the audience is aware of the impending betrayal that Duncan is unaware of.
Macbeth was worried about Lady Macbeth because she had begun sleepwalking. Because of this development, he called for the doctor to check on her. The gentlewoman was the woman who attended on Lady Macbeth, and who showed the doctor where she could be found at night. Both watch the sleepwalking scene. Later, the doctor reports his findings to Macbeth. "She is troubled by thick-coming fancies that keep her from her rest." But he tells Macbeth that there is no medical answer for her problem; "Therein the patient must minister to himself."
L. Macbeth (Lady Macbeth) reacts to Macbeth's hallucination as angry and frustrated, because this happens during the banquet and she can't have a peaceful time after King Duncan's murder. She tells Macbeth: "Are you a man?", because Macbeth is being a total scaredy cat and a spaz, because his hallucinations was the ghost of Banquo, who was killed by Macbeth right before the banquet.
It's more fun to watch.
The whole scene where Macbeth is off murdering Duncan and we watch Lady M waiting for him to get back is brilliant suspense.
