Jem says "we've got him" at the end of the chapter because they finally have enough evidence to prove Tom Robinson's innocence in court. He believes they have a strong case to defend Tom against the accusations made by Bob Ewell.
uh i think that book is erelevant and teh worst book ever almost it's kinda bad though, i know its toward the end of the book

Dill dared Jem to go up to the Radley house and knock on the door. It is easily seen that Jem has his pride, but is also frightened by the house. Dill sees Jem's fear and decides to lighten the dare by saying all he had to do was touch the house. Hoped that helped. (:
Jem loses his pants when he, Dill, and Scout go to give a note to Boo Radley. They went around to the back of his house and Boo surprised them. When they ran, Jem's pants got caught on a fence. He couldn't get them off so he just left them there.When Atticus asked about it, Dill said they had been playing strip poker.He was at the Radley house trying to see if he can see Boo. Then, Nathan Radley stepped outside with his shotgun and fired into the air. Jem ran as fast as he could away, and he ran through the barbwire fence. There, his pants got stuck but he continued to run.They get caught on a fence of the Radley place as Scout, Dill, and Jem attempt to escape after visiting.Scout, Jem and Dill went to Boo's House. The kids were running up to to the house and touch it. The kids started to get scared and ran back. Jem got his pants stuck on the fence. They had to hurry and so they just left his pants there on the fence. Atticus asked why he didn't have his pants on. Luckily Dill was smart and said that he had won Jem's pants in strip poker. The next day Jem and Scout found Jem's pants on the same fence where Jem had gotten them caught. The weird thing was that the pants were mended and neatly folded there.he lost them playing strip poker (with matches) with Boo and Scout.
