Pap tries to kill Huck because he is angry that Huck has money and refuses to give it to him. Pap feels entitled to use Huck's money for alcohol and believes that Huck owes it to him. This demonstrates Pap's selfish and abusive nature towards Huck.

Huck staged his own death by spreading pig's blood around the cabin and making it look like a robbery-murder scene. He also cut his hair to collect evidence and leave behind tracks that seem like a struggle happened. Lastly, he hid in the woods until he was sure Pap had left the area to believe the ruse.
Huck asked him to take all of his money because he knew that pap would try to take it all and waste it on whiskey. Judge Thatcher had Huck sign a paper to turn it into a transaction (most likely so that it would be harder for pap to get it for himself) authorizing Thatcher to "buy" Huck's six thousand dollars for one dollar.
Pap is upset by the government for multiple reasons. One, they try to take Huck away from Pap when Huck can finally do "suthin' for him", mainly earn drinking money for pap. Two, Pap is racist against an educated free black who Pap believes acts like he is better than him, because "he wouldn't 'a' give me the road if I hadn't shoved him out o' the way."

He found an old saw blade in the cabin and cut out a hole for him to sneak through when pap was gone. One day when pap left, he finished cutting through the hole and got out. He emptied the cabin of all supplies worth anything, and then staged his own murder so that nobody would go looking for him. He did this by axing the door of the cabin and using the blood from a pig he killed to make it look like he had been killed. He then used a sack of heavy rocks to make it look like a body had been dragged to the river and, lastly, he made a trail of corn meal to a lake so that people would search for the murderers by following the cornmeal trail instead of searching the river (where he was going to be).
A huck is when you throw the disc as far as you can down the field, whether it be to get the disc out or to try to get a point from long distance.
Mrs. Phelps mistook Huck for her nephew, Tom Sawyer, who was expected to arrive for a visit. Huck goes along with the mistaken identity to try and help Jim escape.
