Scout won't be able to see Dill this summer because he is spending it with his family in Meridian.

In the book it is quite clear that they don't, Jem more so than Scout. In the movie it is never really brought up, but it is made clear to the audience that Dill makes his stories up.

Jem and Dill roll Scout in a tire and it goes out of control, ending up in the Radley yard. Read the book; it's amazing.
Scout was six years old when she first met Dill in the novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. Dill visits his aunt, Miss Rachel, who lives next door to the Finches, during the summer. Scout and her brother, Jem, befriend Dill and the three children spend their summers together exploring their neighborhood and creating imaginative adventures.
Scout and Dill go outside to escape the summer heat and find relief from being cooped up indoors. They also go outside to engage in imaginative play and explore the world around them, enjoying the freedom and adventure of being outdoors.
Raymond explains that as Scout and Dill grow up, they will come to understand the complexities of the adult world and see things from a more mature perspective. They will likely lose some of their innocence and idealism as they confront the harsh realities of society.
Scout was asking Dill where her father was. At first she said,"Where's your father?" Dill replied, "I don't got one". Scout pushed on, "Well is he dead?" "No he ain't dead", said Dill. "Well if he ain't dead then you got one, don't you?" It was at this point that Jem told Scout to hush up. (Pretty sure the quotes aren't exact I haven't read the book in a while)
She beat up Francis
Scout picked up her cursing habit from her brother, Jem, and their friend Dill. They were daring each other to curse, and she wanted to fit in and prove she was brave like them.
