Grubbs has all ways had a wolf inside him but he has been able to keep it from over controlling him. But when he comes to the island of werewolves the wolf inside controls him. At first Grubbs can't control the wolf but when his friends remind him of who he is he can control it better but still likes the taste of human flesh.
yes if you reed book eight "wolf island" it tells you there why grubbs turns into a werewolf
It turns out in Lord loss billy is the werewolf NOT dervish and so on grubbs fights lordloss in chess and WINS? so on etc.
The eighth book in the Demonata series is call Wolf Island!
its deaths shadow
It actually comes out May 2010.
I believe it was 'Death's Shadow'.
The book "Legend of the Deep Lagoon" by Roger Grubbs has 238 pages.
Hells Heroes by, Darren Shan
In my opinion it's Lord Loss i think its the second book Demon Thief
Grubitsch better known as Grubbs
the demonata by Darren shan
Again, this is a question that depends on opinion. Personally, the Demonata series is much better, both literaturely, and aesthetically. Plus it's more horrific and graphic as the books progress, although the shifts between Bec, Grubbs and Kernel can get a little tedious, especially when you don't care for Bec at all and just want Grubbs to go mental >=] The Cirque Du Freak is a good series aswell, though the naievity of the main character and his constant 'whining' can become annoying, even though the last book was mind-blowingly amazing. Demonata would have to come on top, purely because the overall story is on a higher level than the Cirque.
