Calpurnia goes to church because she has the right to. Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.
But, if you really wanted to know, she was christian, as were most people in Maycomb. She was not Catholic, as there were no catholics in Maybomb County.
On one Sunday, Calpurnia takes Scout and Jem to the "black church". When one member of the church wants the children to leave, Calpurnia insists that "It's the same God." In my view, I think that Calpurnia believes that everyone's equal.
Once they are around the people of her own color, Calpurnia begins to speak in a different pattern and uses different expressions. She uses Black slang and her grammar is not as proper.Calpurnia talks like the other colored people.
well in the book it said Calpurnia church welcomed the with a warm bitter sweet smell of clean negros. i hope that helps you a little bit

She isn't quite happy that Calpurnia brought Scout and Jem because they are white children and she feels like the church is the only building that really belongs to black people. She questions Calpurnia saying that the church was for black people and white people have their church. Hope that helped. (:
Calpurnia uses a different tone and accent in the church scene. When she talks to the other "Negros" she talks as if she isn't educated or if she doesn't know how to read. But she only does that because she doesn't want to stand out from the rest of them
Calpurnia is different from other colored people because she talks like a white person. Some of the other colored people Calpurnia knows don't like her because she acts like a white person.
i am a christian and i think that the Church is a place of fellowship with other believers. the church doesnt give you your belief it just uplifts it which is amazing. the church is not a building, like menay may thing. really a church is the people in it.
Because she dont like black people
The Aunt wanted to fire her. Aunt Alexandra feels Calpurnia is a 'bad' influence on Scout. Atticus says that he won't because Calpurnia is part of the family and he couldn't have gotten on without her. She also wants her to be fired, because she is black.
Because she thinks that white people should use their own church rather then the colored people's church
No because she doesnt like men. She is homosexual.
