blah blah blah
No Laughing Matter - book - was created in 1986.
Curley fought with Lennie because he thought he was superior than everyone else on the ranch since he was the boss's son and since at that time, Lennie was laughing, Curley thought that Lennie was laughing at him. Obviously, as I said before, Curley thought he was better than everyone and he thought that he shouldn't be laughed at by such a low person so he punched Lennie because of his own stupidity and snobbishness.
The ISBN of No Laughing Matter - book - is 978-0743247177.
No Laughing Matter - book - has 335 pages.
By the end of the book, Lennie is shot and dies by the hand of George.
Curley was in the bunk room beating up Lennie. Curley was looking for his wife and saw Lennie laughing. Curley thought Lennie was laughing at him when he really wasn't. Curley then started to beat up Lennie while George is screaming to Lennie to fight back. Lennie then grabs Curley's fist as he is about to punch him again, and Lennie crushes Curley's fist. The damage to Curley's fist was so bad he was taken to the hospital. Slim forces Curley to say his hand was crushed by a machine. There were hardly any bones left in Curley's hand, and Curley was crying.
Curley thinks that Lennie was laughing at him (when he wasn't) and he has been wanting to pick a fight with Lennie because he dislikes people taller than him because he isn't very tall himself.
Yes, George and Lennie's relationship in Of Mice and Men can be seen as symbiotic. George acts as a caregiver for Lennie, providing him with guidance and protection, while Lennie offers George companionship and a sense of purpose. They rely on each other for different reasons, creating a mutually beneficial relationship.
Lennie is not aware of the power he possesses, so when Lennie kills his puppy he is not able to understand what he was just done
curley thinks lennie's smiling at how small he is.Curley thinks that Lennie is smiling because of everyone else is bullying him after him and Slim had a disagreement. E.g after Candy got involved in the bullying by saying, "glove fulla vaseline" as an attack towards Curley.
The two are in a ranch near Soledad, California, for most of the book, but it is only at the end of the book that Lennie kills Curley's wife while trying to stroke her hair.
