Honestly, he has earned the right to be given a chance to take the part for the rebooted Superman film of the future and he has proven that he does have the skill and ability to do it and has yet to show his full potential as the Man of Steel and he deserves more credit than what some people have given him and the Warner Brothers and the future producer and director for the next movie needs to realize that.
