The Balboa is the same as the US dollar. We know that US silver dollars is worth more as the Panama silver Palboa. In Panama the currency is US but there are Balboa dollar coins. Also, the silver coins in Panama are the same size as the US coins and would be worth more as the US silver coins.
Do you mean as collectibles or for their exchange rate? If you have that many coins you'd need to know their dates and mint marks. In general, 1-pf coins dated 1969 and later are worth more than face value only if they're uncirculated, and coins from 1948 to 1968 are worth more only if they're either uncirculated or nearly so. As for the exchange rate, at the time these coins were discontinued in 2002, they were worth about 1/2 of a U.S. cent. However, it would be very difficult to exchange them now unless you were at a major bank in Germany.
You are going to have to be much more specific. By Dinar what are you meaning? The Algerian Dinar? Iraqi Dinar? Serbian Dinar? Etc. and what do you mean investing? Are you investing in old coins? Or simply paper money? Are the coins struck in a precious metal like gold or silver? Or base metals like Brass, Nickel or Copper? Without knowing that information, it is impossible to advise you.
Definately Ebay. I can't stress this enough ... do your homework pertaining to your coins. Some coins are far more valuable than you may think because of rarity or a mint mark you may have missed.
