It would be at the discretion of the shipper. Flat rate could be either USPS, UPS, Fed-Ex or whatever method of shipping is chosen by the shipper for a "Flat Rate". Also, USPS has flat rate boxes and envelopes.
Most online and mail-in services pay for all shipping when you sell scrap gold to them. Some of them can email you the shipping label so that you can send your items sooner. Others may need to physically mail you a wrapper and label, and this will delay your efforts to sell scrap gold. If you need to sell scrap gold quickly, look for one that can provide you with a printable shipping label you can use on your own box.
One advantage to purchasing from a catalog is the fact that you didn't have to go out. A disadvantage is the fact that you have to pay shipping costs.
It depends on the weight as it would be processed as "Flat Mail". Visit the Related Link for a chart of the price by oz. from the USPS.
5-7 mailing days is standard
Yes you can if they are department store credit cards or else you will have to wait 7-10 days for it to come in the mail.
The rate for USPS flat rate envelopes through Priority Mail International is $19.95 to Canada. Depending on how much weight you are shipping, it may be significantly cheaper to ship through standard mail.
If this was an eBay transaction it might take four or five days. Some sellers use "standard flat rate shipping service" instead of telling you it's coming First Class, Media Mail or Priority Mail. The only "real" flat rate shipping is by Priority Mail and it should take 2-3 days from PA to NY. When shopping online (non-Ebay) they ask that you allow up to a week. But, it usually takes just 1-3 days.
it takes about 3 million years lol jk about two days by express mail!@
The standard time is 3 to 5 business days from the time the mail gets to the post office. This is a pretty vague question. There's no way to decide how long the item will be in transit without mentioning specific cities from where the item is being sent from and to. Also, "standard flat rate shipping" is a generic term. Unless a specific courier (such as USPS, UPS or FedEx) and shipping service (such as "Ground" "Express Mail" "2-Day Air") are mentioned, there's no way to tell.
You can go to USPS.com to check flat shipping rates. Priority mail is quite reasonable when shipping via ground
international mail can take between 10-24 days
Sounds like you have an eBay or other website transaction. There is no such thing as Standard Flat Rate shipping service. There is Priority Flat Rate. Other than that, we have First Class, Parcel Post, Media Mail, UPS or FedEx. Sellers on eBay and other websites use "Standard Flat Rate shipping service" because they need to find out the lowest cost to send something to you. You need to find out what method they used. If your purchase weighs less than 13 ounces it can be sent by First Class Mail. If it weighs more than that, it can go by Priority Mail. If it's very heavy they would use UPS or FedEx. First Class - 3 to 4 days Priority Mail - 2 to 3 days. Media Mail - 7 to 12 days. Parcel Post 7 to 10 days. UPS/FedEx - usually over 7 days.
First Class Mail is delivered in three to five days.
Some websites and sellers on eBay, say that it's "standard flat rate shipping." There is no such thing. This just gives the seller time to find the cheapest way to send something. I will try to explain it. If your item weighs less than 13 ounces, it will probably come by First Class mail. That takes about four days. If it weighs more, it will probably come by Priority Mail and that takes three days. If it's a book, magazine, video or music it will be sent by Media mail and that takes a week or longer. If your item is very heavy, the seller will send it by UPS and that can take five to seven days. When you figure the time it will take, don't include Sunday.
The fastest shipping method is overnight shipping, offered by USPS, FedEx and UPS. It is also the most expensive. The most economical fast shipping option is USPS's priority mail flat rate boxes that deliver in two days.
It does not cost very much in order to ship a standard piece of US mail in a padded envelope. The cost of shipping standard US mail in padded envelopes can cost as little as $3.
It depends on what you paid for shipping. If you paid for overnight shipping then it should get there overnight. If you paid for standard shipping then it should get there within their time estimates.
