Yes you must turn the vehicle in on a lease. You are responsible for the full amount of payments on the lease. If the vehicle is not turned in it can be reposessed.Remember you never owned it.
It certainly does. Unless the person likes the idea of "Grand Theft Auto" charges. You would have to reafirm your contract with the lender and pay any accrued fees/penalties.
Filing bankruptcy can stop a garnishment immediately. Ifall funds that have been garnished have been properly exempted, the garnished funds can even be returned to the debtor. When a bankruptcy is filed, a special provision of the bankruptcy code kicks in and stops all creditor action to collect a debt. The special provision of the bankruptcy code is Section 362 and is called "the Automatic Stay". The Automatic Stay is a court order to all creditors to stop collecting debts immediately. When a paycheck or bank account is garnished, money is taken from the paycheck or other account and held until a certain time when the money is supposed to be delivered to court and turned over to the creditor. The date that the creditor is supposed to pick up the garnished funds in court is often called "the return date". If a bankruptcy is filed before the return date set for the garnishment, the garnishment is immediately stopped and the creditor cannot continue to collect the debt through the garnishment method. However, understand that the debt the garnishment is paying isn't extinguished or reduced...it will be resolved in the BK. The above probably won't apply to child support or such...which rightfully gets no breaks.
Nothing good, unfortunately. I believe the lowest rating you can have is 300 and the highest is 850, so a score of 384 is very low. Generally this means the person has significant credit problems - bankruptcy, foreclosure, accounts turned over to collections, etc. This can be improved, however, by paying all accounts on time and reducing the amount of outstanding debt.
Yes. Credit card companies have no obligation to offer an account to anyone they believe could be a future "risk."
it does not actually improve the score but if they are already turned over to the collection agency - it will just make credit score get worse and worse. the only way to improve score is by paying everything off ON TIME and letting time take it's course. Most bad stuff will drop off within 10 years
Yes. Even though the vehicle was repoed, they could take you to court for the remaining balance, or what they didn't recover through resale of the vehicle. You would be notified that you are being sued, and have the opportunity to go to court in your defense. If the court finds in favor of the lender (which they generally do), you could have your wages garnished. That may be the point where you have to decide if bankruptcy may be right for you. Bankruptcy would stop those proceedings and keep your wages from being garnished.
He stopped eating.
no, you are still liable for the charges, no matter if you file for bankruptcy.
I didn't know loans could ever be turned in. I thought they had to be satisfied. And bankruptcy allows you to satisfy them for less than you agreed to, But, you didn't do that during bankruptcy...and instead maintained your promise to pay....and now you think you should be able to reneg? Of course maybe I'm not understanding....YES, that loan, (that means the money you were loaned)...wrap it up and bring it down to the lender and turn it in. Before, after, during bankruptcy, pretty much whenever...thats fine.
When the traffic light turned red, the man stopped at the intersection.
Red lights flashing on a school bus mean remain stopped until they are turned off.

Vaudville comic Joey Faye claimed authorship of "Slowly I Turned" in its many formats . (I'm not sure as to which play this skit was first performed .)
Front rotors warped or out of round. Have rotors turned and that will fix your problems.
