This depends on the contract rates that have been worked out between the agency and the hospital. Usually, there are a number of charges...charges depend on the title of the employee (i.e. RN, LVN, CNA, EMT, etc.), the specialty (i.e. ICU, Telemetry, L&D, etc.) The agency I work with charges the hospitals approximately $55 to $60 per hour for a specialty RN, $50-$55 for a Med-Surg RN, $30 for an LVN, and $20 for a CNA and/or EMT.
