But to be more specific, the blue jeans were made by Levi Strauss is 1850, just for the gold miners who's pants seemed to keep falling apart because they were made out of cotton. But the jeans were made out of a much more durable cotton and were died blue. This saved the gold miners wives allot of thread. :)
