There are no laws, that I'm aware of, that cover this. It is strictly a business/banking/parental decision. If you are old enough to have your own account and the bank wishes to issue you an ATM card, it is up to them whether to issue one to you or not. If your parents wish you to have an ATM that can draw against their account, then that is up to them.
just see on the atm card.... you will get it.
There is no age limit for using an ATM card. As long as you have an ATM card you can use it. But usually banks don't issue ATM cards to children or adolescents. They may issue cards to account holders who are at least 16 years old.
You can change your ATM card if:Your card is lost or stolenYour card is damaged and is no longer workingyou can get a replacement ATM card by calling up customer care or visiting your bank branch and ask for a new ATM card.
The ATM does not expire but an ATM card does. If your ATM card is about to expire or has expired, the bank would automatically re-issue a new ATM card for you. If that does not happen automatically, you can call up your bank customer care or visit their branch and request for one and they will issue you a new ATM card.

In India, the minimum age to get an ATM/debit card depends on your bank and the type of account, but here are the general rules: 📌 1. If you’re 18 or older Most banks will give you a regular ATM/debit card automatically when you open a savings account. You must be at least 18 years old to open a savings account on your own and get a full debit card. 📌 2. If you are a minor (under 18) Many banks allow children above about 10 years to have a savings account and be issued an ATM/debit card — usually with limits and parental consent. Banks may offer special kids’ debit cards (with restrictions on limits or usage) for ages roughly 7–18 years depending on the bank’s policy. RBI rules let banks decide their own exact age and conditions for issuing ATM/debit cards to minors, so this can vary between banks.

ATM machines have magnetic card readers which pull the card in when it is placed in the card slot and once the transaction is over the card ejects out easily.
