The long run expansion path of a firm will not be linear when for higher levels of outputs the optimal mix of labor and capital changes. This causes the Isoquant's slope to be different at each level of output and makes the expansion path bend.
Whether this exists in real life or not, I don't know. I can think of an example though. For smaller scale operations a different "type" of capital could be used that requires more labor to be utilized. Maybe a small landscaping company choses to use shovels for a small project and a backhoe for a larger project, which requires less labor.
For the short run capital is fixed, so in that case the firms expansion path will always be linear.
hope this helps.
A monetary financial institution (MFI's) is a bank (central, retail, wholesale) or building society which allows entities to make deposits with their institution. A non-monetary institution does not accpet deposits, i.e insurance firms or pension schemes. this a simple definition which should start you off on the right path. I hope. :)

straight
It's always straight - as far as the light is concerned. If space is curved then the light follows the curve.
To support that light travels in a straight path, take a flashlight and turn it on. Then, you could point it in any way around a room, upside down, angled, tilted, etc., and where ever you shine the flashlight, the ball of light is always straight across from the flashlight.
Distance from minnesota to chile is 5868 miles. It always varies according to the line of path chosen. it is the shortest and the straight path between the two areas.
A line is a straight path that extends infinitely or endlessly in opposite directions. A straight path that joins two points is called a line segment.
With a curved path you have to slow down to curve as with a straight path you dont have to slow down you can do as fast as you need to go to get threw it.
straight
Light always travels in a straight line. It's direction can be changed, by reflection or refraction, but it does not bend.
