The terminology "going dark" will have several meanings depending upon the context of its use. I can only speak to the sales arena. In sales it is generally used to describe prospects who had initial interest in a product or service, have received several demonstrations and presentations of the same, requested quotes, and possibly the contract for sale. However, for reasons unknown to the sales person, the prospect has not made any decisions nor communicated their responses to the quote/contract despite their initial fervor to move the process along and their stated interest and value to their organization for your solution.
