Because he's the greatest of all time! That may not have been specifically the answer you were looking for here, but it is the only answer to any question pertaining to Sweetness. Case in point, "Hey man... Why did Walter Payton wear the No. 34?" "Well Walter Payton wore the No. 34.... because he's the greatest of all time." And here's another great example, "Excuse me sir, can you tell me why they call Walter Payton the greatest of all time?" "Well now my good man.... they call Walter Payton the greatest of all time, because he is....THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!!!" I rest my case...
I have advocated the use of Analytical Electron Microscopy for the evaluation of aerosol particulates for nearly 30 years. Politicians and "vested" interests employed phase contrast light microscopy and polarised light microscopy, which can only resolve to a practical size limit of what is called PM10. This means Particulate Material size to 10 microns. Currently Ultra Fine Particles, UFPs, (sub micron particulates) can cross epithelial cell membranes by nonphagacytic mechanisms. In short the smallest particulates get to many place that would not normally be expected. This research is ongoing, but getting little support, because it is expensive and there will not be any profit from sucn research. The bankers are more intested in paying off their debts at our expense. Perhpas some rich entrpreneur should fund UFP research, at the nanometer level, at labs like Sandia in NM where they analysed the anthrac bacillus some years ago, with autmoated, high resolution AEM? NASA are currently collecting aerosols at jet aircraft altitudes and these includ carbon aprticles. i used to find them in samples fro bus garges 30 yeasr ago. One of my students remarked that small sub mciron particulates would have "long range environmental effects". How right she was and might be?
A Day in the life of a EntrepreneurAn entrepreneur risks his own capital, services, and skills in a company (or in several companies). Entrepreneurs exemplify the American dream-working without a boss and using their own hands to build a livelihood. Successful entrepreneurs seem to have a number of similar qualities. First, they know business, either from their own experience or through extensive research. Second, they are extremely motivated. The average number of working hours per week of a successful starting entrepreneur is seventy. This catches the typical American dreamer by surprise. Third, successful entrepreneurs become obsessed with-or at least fascinated by-all parts of their chosen area of expertise. No aspect of the business is too large or too small to consider. The best thing about being an entrepreneur is that they control their own destinies to a greater extent than if they were working for someone else. Unlike working for someone else who judges their work and assigns a value to their services, every stitch of work they do goes toward their betterment. This puts immense pressure on the entrepreneurs, but it can also be the source of immense pleasure. The most important entrepreneurial concerns should be thought about long before the person starts her own business. She must know how to run the company and when to reassess management strategies. She must be on top of issues of cash flow, expansion (or consolidation), liquidity, and corporate governance. Over three-fifths of new businesses and franchises fail within eighteen months of opening their doors. Many of the factors leading to failure are uncontrollable by the entrepreneur. If she's trying to sell widgets, and a widgets superstore opens down the street, she may be sunk. Being an entrepreneur means thinking about the business all the time, accepting its responsibilities and its failures. But being one's own boss, owning a business, and reaping all the rewards are powerful enough forces to attract people in droves.
