It's called fee-for-service. At our agency we have some full-time employees, some part-time employees, some volunteers and we have some fee-for-service counselors. They are paid for the services they provide and no more. The amount they are paid every 2 weeks depends completely on the number of service units they have provided. Part-time employees are paid a regular amount based on contract; this is different from fee-for-service. If you are thinking about signs that you sometimes see, "Fee is due at time of service" this simply means that you have to provide proof of some kind of coverage at the time of service, or be prepared to pay in cash at the time service is provided.
It's either accrued interest (on your outstanding balance) - or a service charge for using the card.
A common example of a service that charges a user fee is public transportation, such as buses or trains, where passengers pay a fare to access the service. Another example is national parks, where visitors often pay an entrance fee to enjoy the natural amenities and recreational activities. These fees help maintain and improve the services provided.
Difference between fee and fees : There is an agreement between the noun (subject) and the verb in number. If the noun is singular the verb should be singular in number. If the noun is plural the verb should be plural in number. Fee - Singular & Fees - Plural. Eg. Legal fees, University fees, an entrance/ registration fee, We couldn't pay the layer's fee.
