There is no minimum. 1 cent of unpaid debt can be reported.
It is not recommended to apply for new credit cards or use the ones that you told the debt consolidation company that you can't afford the minimum payment. What is the point of using credit cards when you are trying to get out of debt? If you use any of the cards that are in the process of debt consolidation, the company can end your contract and what are you going to do to get rid of your debt?
I'm not 100% sure but the way I understand the law it should not end up on your credit report just because you are an authorized user. The only time that is the case is in the community property states where the survivor is a spouse. I would contact the credit agencies (if theis did end up on your credit report) and request that it be removed based on that fact.
If you only make the minimum payment on your credit card each month, you will end up paying more in interest over time and it will take longer to pay off your balance. This can lead to accumulating debt and financial strain.
The fastest and best way to pay back a credit card debt is to pay more than the minimum payment. It is best to pay as much as you can afford in order to pay the balance down as soon as possible. The quicker you pay down the balance the less interest you will end up paying.
You do not need a minimum credit score. You just need to be able to pay off the amount at the end of every month.

After 1998, the only new information that the creditor should be reporting is that the debt was included in the bankruptcy. The debt is nearly 7 years old anyway and should drop off your credit report by the end of 2005. Visit the website for the Federal Trade Commision and you will see they they have very helpful information on how to dispute items like this on your credit report.

It can be easy to lose track of credit card purchases and end up in a mountain of debt. If this has happened then it is time for immediate action. Do not simply pay the minimum balance per month since this will not be enough to pay down the principle and the interest. If possible, try and transfer the debt onto a credit card with a low or zero interest rate. If that cannot be done, see if you can have your interest rate lowered with your credit card company. If they refuse to help, and the debt keeps mounting with interest, then it may be time to look into a debt consolidation service that can help you pay off the bill immediately with a lower interest loan. Do not let credit card debt and interest take control of your life.
You'll get into debt.
there are few ways of doing this. easiest way is to pay off your debt.. whatever you owe, pay it off.. after doing so, make transactions on your credit card and pay it off end of every month.. if your credit is in really bad shape.. there are credit professionals who can clean up your negative credit report. it usually takes about 3-9 months depending on your credit situation.. they usually charge between $300-$900.. they don't pay your debt though.. they just fix your credit that are fixable! asian623 http://www.myspace.com/scionturboracing
