Where can you buy yuengling beer in Australia?

Yuengling is made in Pottsville Pa and Florida only. It has been in the same family for generations and is America's oldest private brewery. It was vowed that Yuengling would never leave the State of Pa but in recent years has built a brewery in Florida but not the same quality as Pa. You can buy it at any beer distributor in Pa or just about anywhere in Florida. It is also now available in Va as well. So much for the Just in Pa deal.

Which Philadelphia beer has been brewing since 1823 making it the oldest beer in the country?

Yuengling is not in Philadelphia, but about two hours away up the Schuylkill River, in Pottsville, PA. This family-owned brewery has been in continuous operation since 1829 (not 1823), making it the oldest brewery in the United States (and one of the oldest family-owned businesses). The brewers make Traditional Lager (their biggest seller by far), Light Lager, their old standby Premium Lager, Chesterfield Ale (actually a lager also, but noticeably hoppier than the Traditional Lager), a good Porter, and a Black & Tan, a blend of the lager and porter. This variety of beers has allowed Yuengling to straddle the line between mainstream brewer and craft brewer. Yuengling (pronounced "yingling") may not be the greatest beer you'll ever have, but it's such a local favorite that many places stock it instead of the more popular national brands. The original brewery burned in 1830, but the brewery built in 1831 is still in operation, since joined by a facility in Tampa, and one about 1.5 miles away from the original. Yuengling is the largest 100% American-owned American brewery, and is notable for successfully growing a 'regular' beer brand in a market where light beers have been the source of most of the growth.
