Your Amex card number may be too short because it does not meet the required length of digits for an American Express card. Double check the number to ensure it is correct and contact your card issuer if you continue to experience issues.
The first digit tells you what industry the card belongs too, 4,5,6 are banking & financial (Visa, Mastercard, Discover in that order) Amex is considered to be travel & Entertainment.... 9 would be national assignment.
They need your full name, address, policy number, phone number, and other basic information. They also need your credit card number too. Hope that helps.
If there are too many CVV attempts on a credit card, the card may be temporarily blocked or locked for security reasons to prevent unauthorized access or fraud.
No unless the primary gives the secondary permission too
Sure, but to have the card and not use it does NOT improve your credit rating. If you amass too many credit cards - even if you never use a single one of them - it decreases your credit rating because you have "too much available credit potential".

I dont know.Im a noob too
You are quite an optimistic guy, still hopeful of getting your wallet back. Even if you get back your old card the process of unblocking your old card, cancellation of your card number, issuance of new number and the rates that go along with it, are too long and expensive. Better apply for a new card.
The CVV is an anti-fraud feature which is normally 3 digits long. I would guess that you are including the CVV as part of your card number, since the number you are using is 3 digits too long. Try again, but do not include the CVV in the card number. Background explained by asker:I got a Money Network card from my job at Meijer and when I tried to use it online it said my card number was too long. The card has no name, name CVV but it has an expiration date and a card number. The number is 3 digits over a regular card number. I went to the website it says to go to and I called but I have received no answers. Can someone please help?
I too could not find a way to check the balance of my AutoZone gift card. I was able to call their rewards number at 800-741-9179. Give them the 16 digit card number and they will be able to tell you the balance.
You have to specify what store or this cannot possibly be answered correctly. That number looks too short though
