The ruler of Spain, King Ferdinand, financed the expedition of the conquistador, primarily to expand Spanish territory and influence in the New World, as well as to increase wealth through the acquisition of gold and silver. Additionally, the expedition was seen as a way to spread Christianity and counter the influence of rival European powers. By supporting such ventures, Ferdinand aimed to enhance Spain's prestige and secure its position as a leading global power.

being a ruler of everone
To lead is to show the way. To rule is to control or dominate. From this, it is possible to conclude that ruling is a hypocritical action. A leader shows the way and guides, whilst doing the thing themselves. A ruler just instructs the group, and because he doesn't have to do the thing himself, it wouldn't matter if he thought it was right or not. This is because people under the instruction of a ruler have to do what the ruler says. People under the instruction of a leader, are given every opportunity to follow suit, but in the end they aren't forced to.
A law not offically established. Ex racial segregation in america during 1950's.
A constant is something that doesn't change. i.e. Timer, ruler, etc. A control won't change because of its use to compare with another group that is identical except for one factor [not including the variables used].
