There are many reasons management may resist a company takeover. They could fear for the security of their jobs or they may be resistant to change.
An amicable situation where a company's management or board agree to merge or be acquired by another company. The opposite would be a hostile takeover or acquisition.
An Operations Strategy is a tool for management that lets them assess whether or not their business is operating as they intend it to. - It would give management a target structure to which they could compare actual results to help determine the efficiency of their operations. - It would allow management to be able to better control employees activities and control productivity issues. - It would allow management to be able to identify deficient components of operations, and thereby allow them to control costs. In general, think of it as an operational budget... where it is not tracking dollars, but operations / productivity / efficiency.
The target market for a boathouse restaurant would be middle to upper class citizens.
An example of resource management would be recycling, especially seeing as to how resource management is actually a process by which you find the most efficient way possible to use a company's/ your resources.
Management is important because employees need direction. Without management, no one would work together to achieve organizational goals and the company would make a profit.

Yes, Adolf Hitler did visit Poland. In 1939, Adolf Hitler invaded Poland and forced the leaders of the country to sign an agreement that stated that Poland's Army would not resist the takeover.
arguing that a takeover by Computer Associates International would harm Computer Sciences customers because Computer Associates International lacked the flexibility and objectivity of Computer Sciences and that the takeover would harm employees
A takeover by the crew because of discontent would be a mutiny; a takeover by criminals in order to steal the ship, its cargo, or ransom the vessel and crew is piracy.
The originally answer said, "Coup d'etat or simply coup." This seems to consider only the political arena (or something analogous to such a political takeover). I would add "Offre publique d'achat (OPA)" for the realm of business. An "OPA hostile" is a hostile takeover of another business.
A few years ago I was desperately looking for diecast Cars (from the movie Cars). I had asked my Target's management when they would be restocked. They indicated that their restocking occurs on a Tuesday and that they never know what a shipment will contain. During they holidays they may receive more than one shipment in a week. Same situation with the Kohl's by me. I would suggest you ask your Target management when they usually receive shipments, my guess is that it varies by store. Then, plan on visiting the store the morning after.
