Welll...yeah, in a General Sense, the Betta is Calm. However, two male Bettas together are the Antithesis of Calm. Two female bettas together will pretty much ignore one another. One male and one female betta will either Fight or F***...uhm, lay eggs, that is. As a COMMUNITY FISH, the Betta will generally not attack fish of other species....it is not a fish built for Speed and Chasing, as it were....in that sense, it is indeed Graceful and Calm. In my experience, it is more likely that a long-finned male Betta will be Pestered by the other species (ex: Tiger Barbs) than it is to Pester its (non-Betta) tankmates. other Betta fish and the bigger fish.
Betta fish do not eat fish.
No betta fish are carnivores.
Well, if you love your Betta fish, then it should live by itself. But if you add another Betta to your current Betta fish's tank, then they will start a fight because Betta Fish are Siamese fighting fish and if one Betta is in contact of another Betta, the possible reason would be a fight between them two.
A betta is a fish of the species Betta, especially Betta splendens, commonly known as the Siamese fighting fish.
yes
Sure we have betta fish in cuba
betta fish are specifically bred for fighting
No. Betta fish will attack each other no matter the sex.
Possibly. It depends. A bala shark is a calm community fish, while a betta is a fighter. Most people say that bettas will fight any fish, as some do fight other fish, but rarely do they do that.Bettas can basically live with any fish but themselves. Most bettas are calm, but some can be aggressive and should live in their own tank/bowl. Bala sharks will do no harm to the fish whatsoever. So, the answer depends on your bettas personality
I believe you mean Betta fish. No, it should be fine. You can treat you Betta fish by giving them bloodworms!
