Yes, certain species of catfish can still be toxic after they are dead, particularly those that possess venomous spines. The venom can cause pain, swelling, and other symptoms if skin contact occurs or if the spines are ingested. Symptoms of exposure may include localized pain, swelling, and in severe cases, systemic reactions like nausea or difficulty breathing, depending on the amount of venom and the individual's sensitivity. However, the risk of poisoning primarily arises from handling live catfish or consuming improperly prepared fish rather than from dead specimens.

Not sure about catfish. But it has been used in many salons where they are using the doctor fish to eat the dead skin off feet. I'm not sure either, petshops use catfish to clean the pond plants, they suck off the algae dead plant cells-don't know about feet but I'm tempted to try!!!
yes they do cuz my dad caught one and we kept it as a pet and it was floating like if it was dead but my dad moved it and it was alive
Alas, no. It only makes you wish you were dead.
bury it, or just throw it in the garbage.
This happened to me before. It is the catfish. I don't know why but I once saw my catfish chasing and biting everything. The fishes fins were torn up or were dead when he was done. I went to bed that night hoping nothing else would happen and when I woke up he was dead and my female catfish was torn up so much her eye was missing and she was litteraly striped of her skin and my male had a punctured stomach. Hopes this helped!!!!
Scavengers, like catfish or vultures.
There aren't many features like a cat on a catfish, however they do have some whiiskers on the top lip. They eat dead fish, which I don't think cats don't eat...
