Are whale sharks friendly to humans?

yes they are friendly but killer whales you can not swim with because they might think you are a seal and eat you but most other cases whales do not attack you unless they are a male or a female with a baby.

Yep. Tiger or bull sharks are to be more worried by. Whale sharks basically only feed on planton and other plants. Sharks mostly only attack because they feel threatened because of people spear fishing them.

Whales generally don't attack humans, though the Killer whale is rumoured to kill us. This is untrue, because Killer whales are closer to dolphins than whales in their makeup, and have been named thus because they kill small whales. Sharks, on the other hand, are notorious for attacks on humans (See the Jaws movies' for more information) There are hundereds of shark attacks on humans each year. Hope this information helps ;-)
