i have no clue which species live in lakes
lake erie
No. Bull sharks are to big to live in creeks. They can live in rivers and lakes ponds etc. Did that help?
It is possible to swim through from an ocean to a river then to a lake but generally, No. Bull Sharks are the only sharks that are found in lakes.
To the best of my knowledge, there are currently no sharks in the Great Lakes. In theory, some species of sharks, such as the bull shark, could thrive in the Great Lakes, but their introduction is unlikely with the series of locks and dams in place. Bull sharks can make it all the way up to the great lakes but they are only looking for food and there currently is an abundance of Asian carp which should keep them in the rivers. However, the Great Lakes are very cold and it is unlikely that Bull sharks can survive in there for too long, in addition to them not bring truly a freshwater shark species.
well a bull shark is very dangerous and can live in fresh such as lakes and rivers.note.BULL sharks are not bulls
The water is simply too cold to support sharks, even the bull shark cannot survive for long.
its too cold for them, the only shark capable of living in lakes is the bull sharks that lives in the southern part of the world
NONE, there have been no sharks in any of the great lakes. That's because there has to be a river attached to an ocean, and there are no salt water rivers attached to the great lakes. But Bull sharks have been known to go into fresh water to have their babies so watch out if you are in the Mississippi River because they have been found there, and they are the MOST dangerouse shark in the world!
No they can't think about it? That's like saying we can spit our insides up the answer is no. The bull shark in known for many things attaching humans, living in fresh water, and yes it is true bull sharks live in great lakes and rivers to. But a bull shark can spit up there insides they would die.. Bull sharks are very dangerous if you think they can't live in lake Erie or lake michagain your wrong they can it's unusual to see them often but they can swim and live in great lakes
Bull sharks are known for their ability to tolerate freshwater and have been found in rivers and lakes far from the ocean. Lake Thurman, which is connected to the Savannah River, could theoretically allow bull sharks to enter if they swim upstream. However, sightings of bull sharks in this specific lake are extremely rare, and they typically prefer coastal and brackish waters. Thus, while it's not impossible, it's highly unlikely for bull sharks to inhabit Lake Thurman regularly.
Sharks are salt water fish, they would not survive long in fresh water.
