I would not advise it as both the common species of Distichodus those being the Distichodus Sexf and the Distichodus Lusosso have a knack of being very spiteful between peers, including other fish in general. Whislt some might reamin placid others can be very aggressive. I currently have one Lussoso in with a Giraffe Catfish and a Tire Track and seems to be doing fine. If you have a large enough tank I would go for a small shaol of around three or four and see how that works out. I would opt for the Lussoso not only because they are more peaceful but also tend to grow smaller.
