Yes, they will not fight, but they will breed and can have anywhere from 1-100 babies so if you want to breed them it is good and if you dont then it is not such a good idea. They will not harm each other Answer You shouldn't put any fish in a fish bowl unless you want to torture them! Give them a real aquarium. Most guppy aquariums are at least 5-10 gallons that's what i would consider. Hope this helps.
YES...I HAD A PAIR OF REDSWORDTAILS AND A PAIR OF GUPPIES. MY FEMALE SWORDTAIL DIED...THEN MY MALE GUPPY DIED...LEAVING ONLY MY TWO FISH. IT WASN'T LONG UNTIL MY GUPPY HAD BABIES...AND THEY WERE RED, BUT I DIDN'T GET THEM SEPERATED IN TIME...THEY WERE EATEN. I DIDN'T TRY AFTER THAT TO BREED THEM. THEY SOON DIED AND I DIDN'T GET MORE FISH.
Guppies live up to 4 years old and when they die they do not float they sink down to the bottom of the tank
Its hard to keep any fish with Convict.Especially with a breeding pair of convicts.Maybe another species of armored catfish like many species of doradids or talking catfish as they are called.
They should be OK together if they are about the same size and you have a large tank (Over 50gals) set up. If you have a pair of Oscars and they decide to breed you will have to remove all other fish.

Considering the general, mostly mellow, nature of guppies, yes the Turquoise guppy is mildly more aggressive. If you have a pair of them they are fine. It's when you have just have one amongst a variety of fancy guppies, that they occasionally will become aggressive. In general, Turquoise guppies tend to be loners, and don't frolic around most of the time like other fancy guppy species.
