yes you can use any type of water for gold fish but to be on the safe side i would go out to a store and buy a water clearifyer

i have the basics;
4l fishtank,
2 goldfish,
100g fishfood flakes,
thermometer,
and decorations.
and i also use tap water and nothink else.
but i always clean the tank out every
sunday night at 5:00pm at night.
