Provided you keep to the basic rules of. :- 1 inch of fish needs a minimum of 1 gallon of water. Every tank needs a permanently running cycled filter. Every tank need at least 50% of its water replaced every week. You can mix many different species with guppies. A few suggestions are fish from the following family groups. Tetras, Barbs, Danios, Rasboras, Dwarf Cichlids, Anabantids and Corydoras. There are many others but your local pet shop should be able to advise you.
There are two kinds of 'albino' catfish commonly seen in aquariums. One is the albino channel catfish....which will grow to be VERY LARGE and will eat anything it can put in its gaping mouth...the other kind is the albino corydoras catfish. The corydoras will get along PERFECTLY with guppies and just about any aquarium fish...'library' or not.

The best flake food for Guppies would be one that is high in vegetable matter. Another food that is heathy for them is finely chopped , and ground spinach. Guppies are largly vegetarian, But will eat most other foods.
None, goldfish should only be housed with other goldfish.
Guppies are very tolerant fish but they should not be kept with more boisterous fish. Also, guppies should not be kept with fin-nippers. Other live bearers make excellent tank mates.

Guppies are not the only fish, that give birth. Almost every kind of fish gives birth. However, guppies are pretty easy to give birth. Other fish, such as betta fish, most tropical fish, and angelfish are rather hard to breed, because they are aggressive and will eat their own young. So, I suggest guppies if you want to breed fish.

You can keep most tetras, some barbs(not the Tiger Barb it will shred your poor fish's fins). You can also keep a Beta fish with them but, be carful when you put one in with your Guppies because he might attack your Guppies. Hope this helps!
