The fish you are refering to as a "Japanese fighting fish" does not exist. There are no fighting fish that come from Japan. Japan is a cold country not a tropical one. The Koi Carp were developed in Japan. The fish I THINK you mean is the "Siamese fighting fish" more correctly the "Betta splendens". Yes they do fight but only the males fight and they will only fight against another male of the same species.
A member of the Koi Koi tribe is often referred to as a "Koi Koi" or a "Koi." The Koi Koi are indigenous people of Namibia, primarily known for their distinctive cultural practices and semi-nomadic lifestyle. They are part of the larger Khoisan ethnic group, which is renowned for its unique languages and traditions.
Koi is a type of fish. Just don't put koi in the pond and it will not be a koi pond.
The plural of koi, a Japanese karp, is koi.

Yes you can swim in it and they won't hurt you.
Some are sharp but not all! My Koi fish are classed as omnivores and have no incisors only some teeth at the back of the mouth equivalent to our molars. They can't 'bite off' but they can chew. Things like baby snails are ok as long as they fit in their mouth.
The koi eggs frtilized after they pushed out of the female koi. The male releases sperms in the water, the fertilized process occurs whithin five second after the eggs get pushed out of the femal koi.
