no,your probably thinking about simese fighting fish.
Answer-
Mollies could fight if they wanted to. My mollies fight when they are intruding their partner. They will chase each other and nip each other. They don't kill each other. Don't separate if they chase each other. They are just showing who is the boss of the tank. If they are missing fins and scales you should separate them.
I would say a bubble nest yet mollies are live berriers are they real mollies then?
They are showing off to one another prior to mating.
female mollies chase male mollies so they can mate or have babies.!!
Guppies would show a lot of different colours whereas the molly doesn't have as many colours as the guppy. Guppies and mollies however are said to be delicate fish so you must be careful what you put in your tank. Male fighting fish would think the brightly coloured guppy tails are other male fighting fish and would try and fight them. Mollies would tend to nip at fish with long fins. Both mollies and guppies are friendly. They are both active and eat a lot.
It's hard to understand exactly what you mean. But if one Molly is rubbing the underside of another mollies' tummy then in all probabillty the one doing the rubbing is a male and it is trying to mate with the other one.
Members of Poecillidae, mollies included, only eat each other if the others are babies, or dead. But most likely, he jumped out.
This is the LAST thing you want to do! Putting a male betta fish in with another male is horrible because male bettas will fight to the death...not good!
Its quite hard to mate different species of fish. Both mollies and sqordtails do get pregnant easily especially mollies which are pretty much always pregnant like mine. Well it isn't impossible but is very unlikely that they will because of their species. If you want fish fry put another female or male mollie in their (depending which sex) and they will reproduce like mad! Hope i helped
mollies are a breed of fish, so there is a variety of mollies including the black lyretail molly, the ballon molly and the dalmation molly. But all mollies have pointed noses and their underbelly curves down but their back is more straight. Male mollies are bigger and thinner compared to female mollies. If you look near its stomach it will have longer fins compared to female.
put it in a tank with another male betta
i would suggest putting a separator between them.
On a male molly behind their anal fin is a pointed fin called the gonopondium. On the female it will be rounded.
