No there is no such thing as mermaids but in Greek Mythology Mermaids were known as sirens where they would lure fisherman/sailors and adventurers into crashing accidently with pleasant singing

Mermaids eat seafood, and seaweed. No eating seafood is not canableism. They are mammas like you and me.

Actually, Mermen are carnivores and Mermaids are omnivores. The Mermen do most of the working and hunting, therefore they require a higher volume of protein and calories. They also hunt like ninjas. They hide in the shadows of the depths of the ocean. or whatever its called. They wait til their prey is close, then they jump out. wait no, they swim out and catch there prey.

They are not real creatures, if you mean in make believe stories, at times they are depicted that way.
