It depends on the Betta's personality. I WILL live on its own in peace because there solitary animals. But they CAN live with Otto catfish, Cory catfish, African dwarf frogs, Zebra danios, Ghost shrimps, Cherry shrimps and Kulhi loachs. I would recommend no Guppies, Goldfish, other Bettas, Kois, Goramies, Rosy Barbs, Hermit crabs or turtles
a fat betta fish
They look just like Big betta fish, but smaller.
it looks like they have a big bubble in their side
Yes, but only one type of betta fish, which is the Plakat betta fish. Its not very common(rarely ever)but it is possible to turn out so. it could get short fins through being in a fight with another fish aswell but most people wouldn't like that
no because the male and femalebetas are the type of fish that live alone. therefor since their opposite sex then there is a chance of them being OK with each other, so if there is another fish with them then they will attack it and eventually killing each other.

Betta are social fish. There is nothing wrong.
yes but do not pick fish that are soooo small like minnows because your betta will EAT HIM UP!
Fish and Aquariams
Yes :0
Bettas are dumb as rocks. If you put another betta, any other anabantid like a gourami, or any long-finned fish in with a betta, the betta will fight it because he will think it's another betta. If you put a short-finned fish in with your betta, they'll live together peacefully.
The best fish to have in a tank with a betta fish are peaceful, non-aggressive species like neon tetras, corydoras catfish, or ghost shrimp. Avoid fin-nipping fish or those that may compete for food or territory with the betta.
