I've heard of a lady in the UK who had a fancy goldfish with a failed swim bladder .The fish was struggling to get to the surface so she tied a very bouyant object to the fish and ever since the fish has been able to swim up and down just fine.I suppose you could tie a heavy object to the fish if it has the opposite problem.Don't give up on the fish: theres still hope even though swim bladder flukes can be frustrating and hard to treat ;0)
