Star fish can survive about 5 days out of water. Then they will die from Dehydration.
Starfish can easily spend a lifetime underwater. Star-pads, on the other hand, can only survive in rock-pools because they need the high level of oxygen
star fish
Not for long. It will live on land for a bit longer than you would live on the ocean floor.
I only know of Marine Star fish.
No cos gold fish are cold water fish and star fish are sea water
Yes, If another fish was to eat the star fish whilst underwater then the star fish would die.
some star fish live in salt water
No, a sand dollar is a marine animal that must remain in the water to survive. It is very similar to a sea urchin or even a star fish in this sense.
It seems to me the only land animal that can't swim is the land tortoise. I am only saying this because I believe it is too heavy to say afloat and its feeble arms and legs couldn't possibly displace enough water to keep it's head above water. Other animals might include: Coral and some insects (seems like they just drown).
they breath in water and the oxygen from the water they take
it stays in water and live
