The average time aquarium fish would survive is between 1 week (for small, fast energetic ones); to 2 months or so for fatter goldfish. However I wouldn't leave my fish for that long (Maximum 1 week) Also don't leave them alone with no food all the time as this will develop fish problems and even death of your fish.
