I can't think of anything specifically; if it was bad luck they probably wouldn't eat it. What foods are considered bad luck in America? I do know that when eating fish, they eat the whole fish head-on, it is considered bad luck to flip the fish over to get to the meat on the other side. They eat the entire thing from just the one side. It has has to do with flipping the fish over representing the New Year, somehow, and bringing bad fortune. I don't recall exactly.
Good Luck
