No. Cleaning out a turtle tank is a lot of hard work. First, you have to remove the dirty water from the tank, bucketful by bucketful. Then you have to carry the tank to the bathtub, dump out all the gravel, rinse the gravel separately, and then wash the tank with soap and water. It's a lot of physical labor and it takes a long time to do (about 2 hours).
But if you have a filter for the tank, you do not have to do it very often (3 or 4 times a year). If you do not have a filter, you will have to clean out the tank at LEAST every other week.
