The legality of owning a piranha varies by location. In some places, such as certain states in the U.S., it is illegal to own piranhas due to their potential danger to local ecosystems and public safety. Other areas may allow ownership with specific permits or regulations. Always check local laws and regulations before acquiring a piranha as a pet.

A piranha consumes food, it does not make its own, such as plants. They eat aquatic and land animals in the water and are known for their flesh-eating teeth.
There have been five movies with piranha in the title: Piranha (1972), Piranha (1978), Piranha Part Two: The Spawning (1981), Piranha (1995) TV, and Piranha (2010)
A shark can kill both. A piranha may be fast and have lots of teeth, but so does a shark. And many sharks are cannibals, meaning they will eat their own kind.
There is none, generally the Red-Bellied Piranha is the "regular Piranha"
No a piranha does not have a shell!
