No....I'm there almost everyday in the summertime for thirty years and there has never been a shark sighting or attack. We are in Buzzards Bay so we are somewhat protected and the water is alot warmer. The sharks that like warm water are all in Florida where the sharks at the Cape like colder water further down the cape, like the Orleans or Truro. Also be careful when you are at a National Seashore because sharks are attracted to shinny objects (like bracelets, necklaces, earrings, jewerly, etc.)
