This depends entirely on the species of the whale in question. The whale shark can grow to be 46 feet long and weigh over 15 tons. In comparison, Narwhals are about 16.5 feet long and 1.5 tons, and Orcas are 32 feet long and 2.5 to 9 tons. While the whale shark is much larger than these two species, it's not nearly as large as the blue whale, which is 100 feet long and 110 tons.
