What animal eats sharks?

The Giant Octopus at the Vancouver Aquarium eat sharks, albeit little ones. They had to put him in a separate tank.

Amazing as it sounds but Killer Whales will eat the Great White Shark - in fact there are videos on Ytube showing exactly that.

Dolphins are usually the predator. They only attack if threatened. Knocking the breath out of those sharks....

Well if you are asking what eats or kills a shark it deoends what type and where but i can tell you 2 of the sharks predators and 1 shark killer.

First of all the shark is often killed by the number one threat to most species of shark..Human.

Often killed in Japan for its fin or the oils to make medicen or sometimes caught in fishermans nets.

The Killerwhale. Often eats sharks that it finds.

and not realy a predator but still a killer of sharks.

The Dolphin. That's right the gently Dolphin kills sharks by suffocating them or reverse drowning them. The dolphin will swim under it and push it out of the water until it dies from lack of water.

Depends on your angle. If you look at it from the point-of-view of aquatic animals, then nothing hunts the shark. If you look at it from the standpoint of humans, and humans being fishermen, then humans hunt the shark.
shark master 18 ive changed my name anyway the main preditor are humans. They take all the fins as the shark is still alive and then they throw it back in the water to die. They do this all as the shark is sufering.
Sometimes pods of dolphins will come and attack a single or few sharks if the sharks are a threat. That's also why you don't see sharks by dolphins often. The Dolphins don't kill the shark for it's meat. I don't even think that they will even try to eat a dead shark.

New reply: Not only people eat sharks. There are some whales who also feed on sharks, such as the killer whales. The killer whales have a higher chance it of eating sharks because sharks and killer whales are both aquatic carnivores.

Well, humans for one. We kill millions of sharks every year and eat a lot of shark fin soup, especially in the east. Sharks have also been known to cannibalize their own species. Those are all the predators of sharks I know of but there may be others.
