What are euhalophytes?

Glenn and O'Leary tried to group halophytes (salt tolerant plant species) into euhalophytes and miohalophytes in 1984 based on their growth responses, water content and cation contents.

Euhalophytes were able to grow at higher salinities than miohalophytes (were more tolerant).
